Ottawa Portrait Photographer
In the pre-dawn hours on a chilly October morning I met up with Karis in Ottawa’s Byward Market. It was still dark & I wanted to capture some photos around the empty streets of the market… No people, just the quiet streets & the glow of the neon lights. I’m based in North Bay these days, but work as an Ottawa portrait photographer whenever I am in the region. Karis was someone I had wanted to work with for a while, & so I was happy to be able to connect with her on this trip.
As the sun came up, we headed over to the nearby National Gallery of Canada, and did some shooting around the exterior grounds of the building. It made for a great backdrop for a portrait session, with interesting architectural features everywhere.
Check it out!
All photos were taken with a Fuji XT2 camera (my favourite these days) & edited with Tribe FORGED presets.
